Joe Medlen Jr.

a.k.a. "Moey Jedz", is a hitting and fielding instructor for softball and baseball. He currently coaches varsity softball at Perry High School in Perry, OH as well as the 14u B2 Bulls Fastpitch team out of Northeast Ohio.

Only in his third year of coaching, Moey has built his successful team cultures around hard work with mental preparation and physical training.

Prior to his coaching days, Moey was a 4-time varsity letterman at Perry High School, awarded 1st-team CVC All-Conference in 2015, All-Ohio nominee, team MVP and Silver Slugger awards, OHSAA Golden Glove Award, represented "Team Army" in the Lake County All-Star game at Classic Park, as well as playing in the NEO All-Star game at Akron Rubberducks Stadium. Moey was then recruited to play DIII collegiate baseball at Hiram College where he played just one season after suffering a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder. He then made the decision to transfer to Ohio University in Athens, Ohio where he focused on his scholastics and received a bachelor's degree of specialized studies focusing in visual marketing in just 3 years while following the baseball and football teams as their team-photographer apart of WOUB News internships.
